dumb hbm questions

These are from my manual for pendant use. It does say the control of the drive consists of a reversing electric brake and inching the motor several times will trip the motor overloads.

G&L made both pendant (no clutch) and manually clutched HBMs. I think as they got newer they did away with the manual clutch and just went to spindle stop/start via drive motor. I can tell you this: I FAR prefer the manual clutch models. That bit in the manual about inching the motor tripping the overloads is no joke. And what a PITA.
