Fusion confusion

Customer sent a .step file to the guy here that uses Fusion. I asked him to "save as" an .igs file. He says there is no provision in Fusion to do that.

Is that right? Fusion won't convert and save as a different format?

I just looked at mine. Tell him to Export instead of Save As.

Dealing with NX/UG right now, they use "Export".

Thanks, guys. He was unaware of that utility.

In the old days Fusion was known for having a great file converter, I don't know if that is still the case. No need to load, just convert and done.

It reads Solid Edge models like native files, I think quite a few others also.
