I used to jog by the Twin Pine Mall aka Puente Hills Mall at 2am in the morning on my after work run back in the day. They filmed in the wee hours of the morning for weeks. I suppose not wanting to disturb the function of the mall and wanting as little traffic as possible filming hours were very limited each day. I did not find out till months later what all the commotion was, I just noticed lots of activity, bright portable lights , lots of trucks, vans and motor homes.
