I noticed it says X axis doesn't move.
But I didn't look, honest. And I won't do it again. Honest. :)

The x on mine was stuck too. It doesn't have a leadscrew, just a rod with some king of friction mechanism for fine adjustment. I sprayed some wd40 in the ballways and it moves fine now. You just push the x by hand and use the handwheel for fine positioning.

I bought the same model a few months ago but on a stand and with the motorized axis with the joy stick. Deltronics is no longer in business but I found a place online that must have bought the rights to support. Talked to them because I wanted a to buy a manual as I’m probably only using %10 of its capabilities and don’t have time to putz around learning the hard way. They directed me to a distributor because god forbid they sell discontinued parts direct. I never followed up, I’ll see if I can’t find the info.

Not sure exactly what I paid for mine. I bought that a bport clone, two lathes, a surface grinder, and an air dryer for $1000 so divide that up however you see fit.

Please do not touch the mirror.
Do not wipe it with anything no matter how soft or lens friendly.
Get that foaming glass cleaner stuff.
Spray it down and let it drip. Do it again and again.
Yes there will be streaks that you want to wipe. Try not to.
Since out of the focal plane they will not hurt anything.
Very careful use of cotton balls when dripping wet is okay but one can still ruin a front surface mirror with these.

The DRO is pretty user friendly but you will need some reference with the advanced functions. I bought several of these comparitors at one company I worked at just cause they will survive in a shop environment our dealer gave excellent support and Deltronic has a good supply of accessories for these,
I remembered why I chose this particular brand/model of comparator, it had the longest X travel for the screen size at the time (13+”) and I think you could also get a 50x lens .
