    Iscar capto coolant nozzles blowing out

    We run several lathes with 1000 psi coolant and are having problems with the coolant nozzles on our Iscar Capto tools blowing out. Only on the Iscar tools.     Okay- I know if the tailstock on your lathe is not centered on your spindle in the X axis you will turn a taper. If it is high or low will the same thing occur?

    Silver and Deming drill shanks

    Some Silver and Deming drill shanks have 3 flats milled on them to help keep them from spinning in the chuck. Why are those flats milled only half way down the shank, instead of the whole length? The larger drill chucks will certainly swallow the entire length of the shank.
