I was poking around on the Haas page looking to cost a dual spindle lathe. I did not see a dual spindle with a 2 inch bar capacity. It looks like the dual spindles start with a 3 inch bar capacity and a 10 inch chuck. Is this right? I want a smaller machine for the higher rpms. Did I just not look in the right place?

You can get a sub spindle on the ST series now, like the ST-10, its on the options list, but it seems to say its a 1.75" bar capacity machine.
I'm not sure why the DS-30 is still a thing and on its own section, Haas's website has gotten way over crowded with unnecessary stuff that just makes it hard to get around.
Korean brands like Hwacheon and Doosan if they have good service in your area are worth checking out to compare.

How much rpm you looking for? The DS has 4500 on the main and 4800 on the sub.
