Anyone have use for this? It's heavy. I think it's #6MT. Bearings are smooth. $250, prefer not to ship it. Located in zip 17602

My weiler manual says the tailstock is a Mk. 6.
That's just the European way of writing MT?

I had a revolving tailstock chuck about that size with mt6. For 3 years I was going to mod it to mt5 to fit my Pacemaker. When a guy I knew mentioned he had a lathe with mt6 I made him a deal he couldn't refuse.

The big end is 1.753, I believe that's MT5. How would you pack this to ship it other than building a crate? I'll have to check to see if it will fit in a 5 gallon bucket.

Yeah tailstock chucks up at that size are worth their weight in gold.

That is MT5. I would build a crate to ship.

That's a good deal. I would buy it if I was near enough to come pick it up.

Here's some more heavy stuff available cheap.
Large bench centers

9" wide vises. These are free for the taking if I don't have to touch them.

Let me know if it becomes available again. Thank you. I would have spoke up sooner had I known it was an MT5

By George, it does. I can't get close enough to it to see it first hand, never thought to blow the photo up. Anyway, someone who can avoid me shipping it is going to be my first choice for obvious economic reasons, sorry! I didn't really expect anyone here to want it, this was a Hail Mary move. Maybe I should have asked $500 and offered to ship. And I really did think it was #6 from 2-3 decades ago when I acquired it. Looked at my 18" lathe again, I thought it was #6 also but it's #5.

Hyperdex 12" 4th axis. Has a Gettys DC motor. Was on a Cincinnati 10VC-1250 that had a dead control. Might make a good welding positioner or similar, needs only a cheap Ebay Cincinnati Acradrive to operate the motor using ±10VDC for speed conrol and 3 phase input for power. Has not been rained on but has been under a trailer for a few years, rusty allover. @scrap weight should be about $100, so $90 to you local pickup.
