I bought the cheapest carbide saws on Ebay. The 3" saw at ran at 180 rpm .5ipm. The 2.25" saw I ran at 220rpm .5ipm.

I had the 3" saw spin in a 7/8" TG100 collet so I machined and welded on some 1.5" CR shanks. After that no more problems.

The saws still look nice, no chipped teeth. Even after crashing the 3" pretty bad.

I should have just made new shelves, but my press brake is buried and I just wanted it done. Probably took 1.5 hours per shelf overall average to modify them which is absurd, but it was just time.

Spoken like a true shop owner "it's only time - it never cost me money" LoL
Nice job though.
Just gotta make some BT35 shelves now!

Lol! So true!

Funny thing about the BT35 shelves- That little Kitamura came with a set of angled inserts to go in a 36" cabinet and hold BT35 toolholders.
