I'm programming and running the machine mentioned above, and I'm having an issue with X-axis live tool tapping. The issue is when feeding into or out of the hole the machine seems to be feeding in inches per minute mode instead of inches per revolution. Here's a copy of the code the machine creates for itself. It's a 6-32 tap for those who are curious.

I forgot to post a follow up. I did have to add a G95 to the program, and i discovered it couldn't be on the same line as the canned cycle code. I also followed the recommendation of the application engineer at Gosiger and changed the G178 to a G184, along with going into the machine's Multiple Machining parameters and changing G184/G298 tapping mode from float to concurrent. Now the machine taps holes with X-axis live tools like it should.
