We cut a 4 inch thick aluminum block (about a 3 hour rough cut, no skims) on our 2 year old Fanuc wire EDM, then some thinner aluminum parts and it killed our resin bottle. I'll try to attach a picture of the screen that shows resistivity. I don't remember it ever having this much effect on IMG_20210610_083251882.jpgthe resin, I , I remember it can cut up the filters if they are not coated, but never the resin. Is this usual?

Al also will clog your filters pretty fast. As he ^ said, just add into cost of job knowing you will use filters and resin bottles faster.
