Solidworks to Fusion 360 File Format

I drew a part for a friend using Solidworks. He needs a file that can be opened with Fusion. Can someone tell me what generic file format I should save this part file in so that he can open it? Thanks.

I'd use STEP. Fusion opens my Solid Edge .par files directly, maybe it will open SW also?

Fusion won’t open sw files I find step works the best.

Fusion can open import SolidWorks files. I haven't tried SW 2022 but recently imported a SolidWorks 2021 file without issue.
