What prototrack do you have? Is it a converted knee mill, or one of their fully enclosed bridge mill units with BT30 tooling and 8 tool capacity? Or a converted lathe?

Maybe everyone is smarter than me but I find this to be very confusing. In an effort to clarify things I'll ask a few questions and then likely move the thread to the appropriate node (section).

Is the OP looking for work to do on a Proto track machine?
if so I would suggest listing capabilities such as 2.5D work, size, cad cam abilities ext

Is the OP looking to sub out work that can be done on a Proto track machine?
if so I would suggest listing what the work is or a basic outline such as size, 2.5D, 3D, tolerances ext.

Maybe he is looking to hire someone to operate it? Or maybe he’s looking for someone to perform repairs, service and maintenance on it?

pretty vague…

Too bad your not closer to be, my dozer could use a bushing turn
Years ago I was on vacation visiting family in the Bay area of California. I was bored out of my mind so I hopped on craigslist and spotted the press for real cheap, like $150. I didn't know the geography well, it was a few hours away. I really just wanted a reason to get out and do something so I drove all day to go get it. Glad I did. I don't use it often, but when I do it's about the only thing that will fit in the space and pull or push that much force.

What tonnage is the ram? I have a 50 ton OTC ram, I ws thinking of making a track pin press lashup for it, but I'm thinking it needs to be more pressure than that.

It's only 30 tons. It's a hollow type ram with a bunch of modular parts to make it push or pull.
