and? you want to pin this somewhere in cad\cam or...?
Not the Thread itself... In this Thread we discussed David Scott providing a file of different tutorials for Fusion 360. If that happens, it would be nice to have them accessible somewhere.

Something I discovered today with Fusion that is very frustrating. Fusion does not generate any 3d tool paths using a form tool.

I was going to order a couple of custom tools with a large radius on the sides to help cut cycle time on a part I make. It would allow me to change my step down from .004 to something like .025. That would be huge for a $60 investment in a new end mill.

Anyways, the tool grinder warned me it might be an issue and he was right. I modeled it up, created the form tool and it Fusion said f*+! off.

Oh well, but thought I'd point it out to anyone who might be interested. For $370 I'm not disappointed, but kind sucks.

Really? It won't support barrel, oval, lens mills?

Nope, lollipop and a straight tapered end mill is about as crazy as it gets.

Is that Mastercam? Through Titans of CNC's website, there is a promo for the educational suite for $160. Says it's fully functional, but I don't really know what that means in regards to Mastercam. Might be worth a shot since my fusion is about to expire.
