Basic, but have you checked that the estop circuit isn't open somewhere? My old 0T-C starts up to that screen if it's switched on with the estop pressed, and stays like that until you release the estop and press the control on button.

Turned breaker off, turned breaker on
Hello Garwood,
Is the Main Breaker a rotary type, or a toggle type switch. If the rotary type, that normally doubles as safety catch for the door, preventing it from opening while there is power to the machine, it also has the function of resetting that breaker as well. The Reset function is typically marked on the switch, indicating the direction the switch has to be turned, which will be the same direction as off, but further. What you see on your screen is typical of that breaker being in the tripped condition; however, its not common for that breaker to trip with the control on and nothing much happening.

Regards,

Bill

Is the turret still taken apart? Maybe there is a proximity switch inside the turret looking for a signal.
I pulled the face off the turret, but all else is intact. I don't think anything is amiss in there.

I jumped the machine ready and spindle drive ready ice cube relay coils to ground to turn them on and the drives didn't come up nor would the control come up.

What all is required for the drives to come up? The indicator LEDs on the control still suggest the control is waiting for the drives to turn on.

All the axis overtravel and ballscrew overtorque limits test fine. I'm not sure if there's anything else in the estop circuit. Deawoo wiring book is kinda meh.

I was thinking the torque overloads but it sounds like you verified that. Hydraulic pump working?

Is normal behavior on yours you turn it on, then take out of e stop, then hit "machine ready" button to turn on drives and hydraulic system?

Do you have a bar feeder or chip conveyor that interfaces with the control? I've bumped the E-stop on my bar feed without realizing it and spent an hour trying to clear the alarm.

Never had barfeed, but does have conveyor.

Been busy with other stuff. I'll check more things in a couple days.
